“Author, investigative mythologist, regular guest presenter on Ancient Aliens, and star of Arcanum TV,” and gnostic, William Henry, agrees with the ancient Sumerians that a class of beings led by an entity they called Enki, or E.A., founded their civilization. They called these beings, Anunnaki , which Henry says means NUN, ‘fish’, of AKI, ‘light’. It makes sense if these beings were angels. Henry would be comfortable with that, I think, if he is gnostic. I agree with the Sumerians, too, on that score but being traditional trinitarian Christian take them to be fallen angels and regard their light as the false light of the “knowledge of good and evil” that the serpent offered Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. The serpent there said it would make them as the gods … an offer still being made today.
But it gets especially interesting when Henry says that Sumer was not the first civilization founded by E.A. He cites Laurence Gardner as saying,
Irish mythology of the Anunnaki predates Sumerian civilization by a thousand years or more. Like E.A.’s Sumeria, Ireland comes into history as a full-fledged kingdom, and its sudden origin has perplexed many an historian. Sumerian culture coincides with, the early Irish. It’s as if one culture is the continuation of the other.
Henry speaks of a very ancient sacred site in Ireland as being the repository of this tradition. He says that around 1992:
Conor Newman, an archaeology lecturer at the National University of Ireland at Galway announced that he had located a massive subterranean temple at Tara (that he thinks) probably dates from 2500 to 2300 BC.
Henry continues that, “Tara is the prehistoric home of the magical Tuatha Dé Danaan, who are considered to be direct descendents or reincarnations of the biblical Shining Ones (Elohim), the creator god.” The Tuatha De Danaan, he says, are described as a majestic race of marvelous beauty, in form human, yet divine in nature. They were said to literally shine from within.
Like the Sumerians, the Irish called them the ‘Lords of Light’ or Illi. Henry says that they were led by E.A. and had with them four tools to implement power over time and space:
- the (S)tone of Destiny
- the (S)word of Destiny
- the Cup of Destiny
- the Staff or Spear of Destiny
He says, “These treasures were housed in the so-called Cave of Treasures, inside the Mountain of God, where burns a perpetual flame.” The flame reference is reminiscent of conjecture by a number of researchers that a sub-class of ancient pyramids seem to have been built to resonate and/or modulate zero-point energy. That is, they were portals. One could think of them as engines, with fire in the middle. The underground aspect of this description is reminiscent of the house or palace or temple of the Sumerian Enki. Henry says that in Ireland, “Tara was considered the Mountain of God, as well as the Illi’s gateway or Ish-Tar Gate to (or from) the etheric Otherworld. Passage tombs dot the surrounding countryside. The passage tombs or mounds are called Sidhe (pronounced ‘she’), a pun on the She People or Shining Ones (the She-Ning Ones) who adored Ana, the Great Mother of All Living. From the earliest dawn of Irish mythology Keltic rites were performed here.”
He goes on that in the myths of the Danaan these rites utilized a “magical” blue stone that became central to Irish mythology. He says that, “the Irish root word Ea means fire or the light which lightens all, and raises us out of earth life,” and that, “E.A. led the Anunnaki in search of the “blue stones that cause ill,” meaning illumination, luminescence, enlightenment. He found them at a place called Arili (Ireland?).”
Henry says the stones are symbolized in Keltic lore by a cluster of three orbs , which also symbolizes, “the Word or Life Force of God.” The idea apparently was that, “when a human places themselves in resonance with the blue stone’s Life Force it transforms them from a human into a god.” He concludes that, “both Irish and Iraqi mythology revolve around the secret teachings of the blue stones of E.A.”
Cathar Cross with the serpent (E.A.) spitting the three orbs.
And strengthening the link to the opening of windows or portals to unseen dimensions, the Irish draw the three stones as spirals:
The three orbs appear as the triple spiral in Ireland.
The bible teaches and there is other evidence that in the very ancient world fallen angels came and ruled on earth and established a priestly nobility to rule under them. The ancient Irish mythology underscores this, delineating a similar hierarchy of races. Henry says:
Tara was the sacred home for the Ari (later the Ari-ish or Irish) who ranked below the Illi gods, yet above the people. Ireland (Ari-Land) takes its name from the Aris or Arians. Ireland is considered the Great Motherland of the Aryan race, otherwise known as Atlantis, Thule or Tula. Aryan or Ari-an is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘noble’.
The Illi gods would of course be the fallen angels themselves, with the Aryans the noble priestly class schooled in the use of the blue stone technology to bring enlightenment and maintain open portals, enabling the Illi or Annunaki gods to manifest their presence on earth. Henry continues:
E.A., I learned, presided over the Tara assembly as the sun god Fin, a Druid in strangely flowered garments, and with a double-pointed headdress and bearing in his hand a book.
Fin’s two-headed miter of fishy form (a play on ‘fin’), his upright rod, spotted or checkered garment and basket in hand, are symbols that are easily recognizable in the Sumerian depiction of E.A. presented here.

He notes that, “his column (i, eye) or pillar of Tara (‘enlightenment’) is remembered as the Tree of the Wisdom of Life of numerous traditions. E.A. is typified as both the pupil in the eye, with wings and a tail, and as the wisdom-bearing serpent who dwelled within the Tree.” This serpent in a tree, and eye of knowing (as gods) would be regarded as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Christian tradition. You see here the root of Mystery Babylon, and some of how it projects its power into the world.
Henry says that during the Christian epoch, “The Illi were banished to the interior world. The Church of Rome transformed them into devils.” Transformed? Perhaps under the intense and true light of the coming of Jesus Christ, the actual Son of God, the power of these fallen angels was broken and they were banished to the interior world because they had thus lost in a major battle between the forces of Lucifer and the true God?
William Henry does great work and is a wealth of information. You just have to put it into perspective!
I lost track of where this article was posted, but here is the website of William Henry. Do you notice the all-seeing eye in his web banner? He is standing next to it. Be careful with this website. The deception he is engaging is a powerful one. It is the deception of Lucifer and his coming antichrist.
