Immune Response

The best thing that you can do for your immune response, generally, is to eat the eight sugars. This food group is one of the few things you can eat or take that will modulate your immune system. That is, if you need it to calm down (as with allergies), it will calm down. But if you need it to crank up (as when you are exposed to germs), it will crank up. That is because the eight sugars actually makes your immune system smarter.

Probably the second best thing you can do for it is to drink Kangen water.

That being said, here is further group of vitamins and co-factors that will keep you healthy. Pay attention to freshness and quality when you buy:

Ascorbic Acid with Bioflavinoids powder, 2,000 mg / 500 mg per 1/2 teaspoon. The bioflavinoids are very important here. Don’t just get ascorbic acid. Personally I want at least 500 mg of bioflavinoids per serving.

Astaxanthin, for antioxidant power.

Resveratrol, for antioxidant power.

Brown Seaweed, for fucoidan and many of the eight sugars.

Vitamin D3, 5000 IU softgels.

Vitamin D3 with cultured nutrients and Fruits & Vegetables, by Vitacost, for the vitamin D3 co-factors.

Cod Liver Oil, for the vitamin A and more: Blue Ice fermented cod liver oil is the best, but expensive. The last thing you want is rancid cod liver oil, and it oxidizes readily. Select your product with caution.

Turmeric powder

Black Pepper, to make the turmeric absorbable.

Iodine, because you don’t eat iodized table salt because that is bad for you. You do eat sea salt without limiting yourself, because it is good for you. Right?

Spirulina, not from China.

Lion’s Mane mushroom powder (try OM brand from Vitacost), for the beta glucans and for brain food.

Cayenne Pepper, to supercharge it all.

I take these daily, and if I am coming down with something I increase most of the pills. This is working for me, but I should probably add the following:
